Well, well, well look what we have here folks. A 1992
Lincoln Town Car (2nd Gen.). All I can say is WOW! This was a
childhood car that was simply magnificent for me. It was my dad’s car and we
had so much fun riding around in it, he had speakers they were loud and we
jammed music all the time.
The Lincoln Town car is a “full size luxury car."
Compared to the luxury cars today, this looks like a run down hooptie. The town
car is a 4-door sedan and is a great family car. It has a spacious build to it
that allows for comfort. It has a standard stereo system, most seats were
covered in suede. The production of this model lasted about eight years.
If you were to buy this car today you would be spending about $1,300.
Insurance would run about $40 a month due to the
older model. This model became one of the bestselling, full-size luxury
sedans of its time. It has a 4.6 Liter engine, which was fuel efficient at
the time. While still giving you about 17-23 miles per gallon (mpg), being
almost equivalent to the Dodge Dart. This would be a great starter car because
it’s great on gas and a pretty cool car to have.
